Miscellaneous

Today was my day off dialysis. Like every other fellow dialysis patient. I enjoyed it. The weather was beautiful, was a bit chilly in the early morning at first when I walked to the clinic for mandatory tests for the transplant list work-up. The usual girl thing ya know. PAP, birth control, and breast exam. So glad I got that over with. I still have to make another appointment for a TB skin test. I'll do that soon. The rest of the tests I forgot the names are too long for me to remember. Those are the ones my doc will be scheduling. I'm so eager to get my name placed on the list, even though I know I still have a long wait ahead. It's a start. I'm so excited. Sometimes I feel hopeless but that usually passes. Other times I feel so impatient. I just can't wait . . . to live a close to normal life again. :)
